The University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the following positions:
PROFESSIONAL STAFF POSITIONS
- Accountants / Senior Accountants — Candidates must hold a master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology with relevant post-qualification experience (4–6 years for Accountants; 6–8 years for Senior Accountants) and membership in a recognised professional accounting body.
- Systems Librarian / Digital Services Librarian — A research master’s degree in Library and Information Science or related field is required, along with at least five years of library experience, including expertise in Library Management Systems, institutional repositories, metadata standards, and electronic resource management.
- Physician Assistant — Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant (Medical), full registration with the Medical and Dental Council, and a minimum of four years’ post-qualification experience.
TEACHING POSITIONS
UENR seeks qualified academics at the rank of Professor, Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer, and Lecturer across the following schools and disciplines:
- School of Sciences — Computer Science, Information Technology (Software Development, Data Science & Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security & Networking, Business Intelligence & Analytics), Mathematics, Biological Science
- School of Arts and Social Sciences — Economics, Accounting, Languages and General Studies, Entrepreneurship
- School of Agriculture and Technology — Food Technology, Agribusiness
- School of Natural Resources — Fire, Safety and Disaster Management
- School of Engineering — Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering
- School of Geosciences — Planning and Sustainability
- School of Energy — Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering
- School of Mines and Built Environment — Sustainable Mineral Resources Development, Land Management
RESEARCH POSITION
Research Fellow — Earth Observation Research and Innovation Centre (EORIC) Applicants must hold a PhD in Climate Change (Forest Ecology) and have at least two peer-reviewed publications in reputable journals.
